Q. Is there a charge to register with CAM Recruiting?

A. No. Registration is always FREE!

Q. Can CAM Recruiting help me with my resume?

A. We will advise our managers when we feel a resume needs revising. And we will reformat/revise/reword it at NO CHARGE!!! This is a complimentary service we offer to assist our applicants in their job search.  CAM Recruiting is Reliable.

Q. Do I need to provide my Social Security Number so that a credit check can be conducted?

A. Absolutely not! And we recommend it only be given to a prospective employer upon completing a formal application. Protecting your identity is serious. In the wake of under or unemployment, we understand one’s credit may have become adversely affected.  Another inquiry makes it that much worse! While other firms insist on collecting your social security number to run a credit check, we feel that in no way should an applicant’s credit score have any bearing on whether CAM Recruiting will represent someone for employment. CAM Recruiting is Respectful.

Q. Is a background check performed?

A. Only upon the contingent of a hire and then only if the hiring association asks CAM Recruiting to arrange for it. Many times the companies or associations use their own means. When CAM Recruiting is asked to conduct a background screening, we submit all sensitive information to our secure screening company and the applicant is then screened for criminal, credit, past employment and residential records. Results are electronically delivered securely and confidentially to the hiring association. CAM Recruiting is Responsible.

Q. Why aren’t there any jobs posted?

A. We are not a job board! When CAM Recruiting is asked to present managers to a position, we select only those applicants who meet the search criteria set forth by the hiring association. We pride ourselves on presenting managers who meet the needs of the openings and that the openings also meet the needs of our managers. CAM Recruiting is Responsible.

Q. Why isn't CAM Recruiting on FACEBOOK?

A. We feel seeking employment as well as obtaining employment is a private matter. Confidentiality is very important to us and FACEBOOK, while a useful tool in communication can create a security breach to both those seeking employment and for employers reaching out to candidates. While we encourage networking, we don't really want to brag about who was hired to those who were not. Plus, we prefer to spend our time connecting with people live! CAM Recruiting is Responsive.

Q. How much can I expect to earn?

A. Salaries depend on many factors. From geographic location, to skills and qualifications, to prior experience and education…the reasons for specific salaries are vast! Salaries are usually set by the operating budget and we work to present only those candidates who are able to accept what the position is willing to pay.  We discuss salaries privately with every applicant.

Q. Is there usually a probationary period?

A. Employment as a CAM in Florida has an indefinite probationary period.  We like to remind our managers that they are on probation every day! 

Q. What if I can’t pay the fee?

A. Our goal is to put you in a position where you can!

We are not beholden to readership or advertisers and therefore all applicants are created equally when it pertains to their ability to pay our fee. We will work with you on a payment plan. We work to help you achieve your goals!
